Isn’t it strange how people are claiming the Ashley Madison hack ruined their lives? That’s like a burglar blaming the alarm company for ruining his life. The only person I feel sorry for is someone who happened to be named Ashley Madison before these people launched their infamous Web site.
But what really blew my mind is that, while 20.2 million of the 31 million men on the site were active users, less than 1,500 of the 5.5 million women on the site were active users. That’s two-thirds of the registered men yet only three one-hundredths of the registered women. In other words, instead of a ratio of five men for every woman on the site, it was more like 13,500 men for every woman on the site. That’s a lot of fake profiles! #Suckers
